

Unbox Robotics, which specializes in warehouse automation solutions, has raised $28 million in Series B funds, contributed by ICICI Venture and Redstart Labs, among others such as F-Prime, 3one4 Capital, Navam Capital, and Force Ventures.
According to a company statement, the funding would be directed towards augmenting their leadership & engineering teams, speeding up product development, as well as growing business in India or international markets. This funding also helped the company in ESOP buybacks.

Founded in 2019 in the Indian city of Pune, Unbox Robotics focuses on modular robotics systems enabled with swarm intelligence software and 3D robotics hardware. Its systems are already used in e-commerce and retail companies in India, Europe, and America.
As per industry commentators, the investment places Unbox Robotics on the competitive map in a growing market of warehouse automation, which is essential in developing the scope of e-commerce.
With new funding in hand, Unbox Robotics is ready to develop its technology and talent as it enters global expansion, marking the increasing prominence of India in robotics technology and smart logistics in the future.
